Discipleship in action

Five lessons. Everyday faith.

The curriculum translated Scripture into practices children can carry into family life and their neighbourhoods.

Facilitators used visual Bible stories, group participation, memory verses and personal responses to help young learners connect the message of Christ with daily choices.

Learning by creating

Faith that children can see and make.

Hands-on activities made the Bible lessons tangible, memorable and accessible to different ages.

Drawing, colouring, displaying completed artwork and group exercises created room for imagination and conversation. The photographs show children engaging with biblical subjects, celebrating their finished work, and learning together. These activities reinforce the programme’s purpose: not just hearing the Word, but beginning to live it.

Prayer, worship & witness

A generation learning to shine.

Prayer and community participation formed an important part of the experience alongside classroom learning. The VBS invited children to pray, sing, listen, speak, reflect and grow in confidence.

In a country where Christian families are a religious minority, the ministry aims to nurture a strong faith expressed through peace, honesty, generosity and respect for neighbours. Long-term transformation will be supported through ongoing Sunday School and family discipleship.

Looking ahead together

An invitation to partner in 2027.

Together, churches and mission partners can help more children discover the Scriptures and grow in faith.

The 2026 programme registered 629 children and was supported by 27 facilitators. These are meaningful, documented outputs; the church remains committed to the longer work of Christian discipleship beyond the event itself. Through partnership, the next VBS can expand access to thoughtful teaching and safe, joyful learning experiences, especially in communities with limited resources.
